Vicente del Bosque guided Spain to their first ever World Cup triumph in 2010, defeating the Netherlands in the final in South Africa. His side represented one of the greatest generations in Spanish football history, building on European Championship success in 2008 before finally claiming the game's greatest prize.
Sixteen years later, Luis de la Fuente led Spain back to the summit of world football. After taking charge of the national team in 2022, he guided La Roja to Nations League glory in 2023 and European Championship success in 2024, before completing an extraordinary international double at the 2026 World Cup. Spain defeated Argentina 1–0 after extra time in the final, with Ferran Torres scoring the decisive goal, securing Spain's second World Cup title and making De la Fuente a World Cup-winning manager.
